Steve,also, if a pass is a little too outside, what is your opinion of backing the ball in while dribbling. I like to do this when matched up with someone smaller. If I get doubled on the way in, I kick it to the open guy (or try to :)</description>

		<description>Yes, but on the other hand, and this points to the caution involved, Kendrick Perkins is a disaster when he brings the ball down and he almost always brings it down, sometimes putting it down when he rebounds directly underneath the rim! Obviously some kind of crutch for him. But it is precisely what he does that makes coaches say, "big men should not put the ball on the floor". Perkins would do well to follow Majerus' advice: never bring the ball below your shoulders.</description>
